There was much excitement among staff, with lots of birthday cake (from www.sweetdreamscakes.com.au), iPod gifts for our Reservations team and of course, for older employees, the joy saying “It’s our 20th anniversary (it was long as some of us can claim that!). Is this the car that makes you famous? Or is it the driver who’s famous car? Or is it both?
The Ford Thunderbird, an icon American car that was manufactured in the United States from 1955 to 2005. It was Ford’s answer to Chevrolet Corvette, but it has not been sold as a full-fledged sports car on her first album. Instead, Ford has called a personal luxury car, a description, which opened an entirely new segment at the time. At its inception in 1955, it exceeded sales of the much more expensive convertible by twenty-four to one.
At its inception, the car had many suggestions for a name from “Hep Cat”, “spinner”, “Beaver”, “Runabout”, with monikers like “Detroit”, “Arcturus “” Savile “,” Coronado, “and most exotic” El Tigre “.
The name “Whizzer” was originally to be seriously considered as the model name a winner before stylist Alden “Gib” Giberson suggested name “Thunderbird” was accepted. If I had to put my two cents in (which I a few words from now on), I have a proposal. I think for any of us to arrive at an answer, we must do first thing we need experience of driving this car. Yes, nothing beats the safety experience something firsthand. We need to experience what we feel with people who see us say hello, waving to us while we are riding the Thunderbird. There is this need be a celebrity for a lesson to see for ourselves that we are spectators to check: the car or us. Yes, I know that the proposal seems absurd, very minor, even. But, again, may maybe not.
This proposal is possible because the Thunderbird is available for rent at all sports, exotic, luxury and classic car rentals in Las Vegas.
